About Sikkim International University

Sikkim International University, located in Sribadam, West Sikkim, is committed to delivering quality education, innovation, and academic excellence. The university aims to empower students with knowledge, skills, and values required to succeed in a dynamic global environment.

The university was initially sponsored by the Research and Gyan for Noble Upliftment Trust, with a vision to promote higher education and research. However, due to challenges in management and operations, the trust was unable to effectively administer the university.

To ensure continuity, stability, and academic growth, the Baba Farid Group of Technical Education Society (BFGTES) undertook the responsibility of managing and operating the university. This transition was formally supported and communicated by the BFG Higher Education Department.

Under the leadership and management of the Baba Farid Group, Sikkim International University is now being professionally operated with a strong focus on academic standards, infrastructure development, and student success. The university continues to expand its programs across various disciplines, offering opportunities in higher education, research, and professional development.

Today, Sikkim International University stands as a growing institution dedicated to excellence in education, guided by experienced management and a clear vision for the future.
